I was born and raised in Erwin, NC and moved to Charleston, WV in 1997 where I now reside with my wife and 3 children.  My degree in computer engineering gives me a great understanding of the digital world.  My biggest interest is in learning new things and that is reflected in the diversity of my experience.  Over the years I have been a Commercial Pilot, Flight Instructor, Private Investigator, Security System Technician, Microsoft Certified Trainer, Server Administrator, Network Administrator, Landlord and Bar/Restaurant Owner to name a few. I have been an owner or partner for 3 different types of businesses over the last 15 years. 

I have always been just as diverse in my hobbies and enjoy learning new things.  One of my oldest hobbies has been photography.  I first started taking pictures with a Canon AE1-Program when I was in high school.  In mid 2005 I upgraded my camera equipment to a Canon Digital 20d.  My background in photography, computers, life experiences and continual learning all contribute to enable me to deliver the high quality photography my clients expect. 

I am a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography and active member of the Professional Photographers of America. Daily I commit myself to studying and practicing the art of photography.
